Post subject:  Car 57 panelling going back in and a surprise

Well today i finished the last top screen windows and they were not without a surprise, the two single screens that i replaced today were rotten as were all the others, but on the bottom rail of one of them was the number 375 window 19. This as it turns out is the screen from UPD&G 375 a 1884 St Charles car built for the Colorado Central ! It was written off as destroyed in an accident as a bunk car at Ara Colorado in 1935.....not all of it was destroyed ?
I started on the joyful task of re-installing restored panelling around the stove area and it looks gorgeous and is a rewarding task.
We also had a nice visit from a gentleman and his wife involved in the Como Depot restoration, great to have visitors, especially when the stove is blazing away.

Regards to all
