This will certainly be another good method of seeking what you need or disposing what you don't need. Let's not forget that for years the ARM Parts Committee has been the best way to get your wants known or to dispose of excess items. Moderated by Rod Fishburn, the e-mail notices sent by Rod goes to the key mechanical/electrical people in ARM and now in TRAIN as well. Rod's e-mail address is parts@railwaymuseums.org |

Let's also not forget Railswap, which has had a very nice free ad board for years (with picture hosting). They also have some Alco manuals on other portions of their site. http://www.railswap.org/ Michael Seitz Missoula MT |

OMR Parts Dept has many many new features that Rail Swap does not have ,including the ability to add more photos and get paid on line. |

Now we just need for more people to have the presence of mind to actually list stuff for sale. Oh and please, assign a price! I know many on railswap do not list prices, expecting that I will take the time to call. That is the fastest way to get me to skip over the ad is to not post a price, and it costs the seller the opportunity for a buyer to make an impulse buy. |
