There are eleven stuffed and mounted engines across the Dominican Republic; that particular one is meter gauge 2-8-0 #7, Baldwin 55126/1921. I agree, it does resemble the Mexican 2-8-2s mentioned in a previous thread, and was built by Baldwin in 1921 as well. One of the Mexican engines is 55110/1921, so it and others were probably on the erecting floor at the same time. Another source of measurements.... |
