I find it absolutely amazing what a professional can do with old paper. I recently saw this non railroad story in the NY Times. A 240 year old map of NY City has recently been restored. The before and after photos are amazing. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2011 ... f=nyregion Knowing the importance and historic value of old maps is what led me to scan my own map of Pennsylvania's railroads mentioned in an earlier post. I hope they are able to do as well with the Flagler prints as the folks in New York did with the map. |
