| Post subject: | Silver Pony Ex-D&RGW Arrives at IRM |
Silver Pony, a dome coach built for the California Zephyr arrived at the siding of the Illinois Railway Musum January, 7th 2011. It arrived on a flatcar and will be unloaded sometime in Spring if and when the snow ever melts! Number 1108 is incomplete as it sits on the flatcar. Anyone knowing the location of trucks for the dome and seat frames and cushions for the dome area please call IRM at 815-923-4391. Donations are needed to cover costs of restoration.
