Since 2008 Pennsylvania Trolley Museum has owned a 25 ton GE (b/n 31789, 5/53) which we are converting to 62.5" gauge to be our shop switcher, etc.

We're trying to locate photos of it in use at its previous owners:

Landis Tool Co., Waynesboro, PA; original owner, there until late 1980s, originally painted aluminum, later light blue.

Geo. Silcott (dealer) at Worthington, OH, late 1980s being repainted and repaired.

Isaac Bros. (scrapyard), Defiance, OH, 1988-91.

Cargill Inc. at Pier 122, Philadelphia, early 1990s, painted yellow & black.

After that it was out of use and cnb until we acquired it for $1 in 4/08. If you have any photos PTM would like to get copies. Please PM me if you can help.

Thanks,
Dave Hamley

I've forwarded this message to several of my friends to see if we can't find you some pics.

That close to Pittsburgh, I'd go with the yellow & black paint job. Steelers logo optional. Trainorders.com had photos of the PAAC "Terrible Trolley" PCC in Steelers' colors around 1980.

Suggestion offered semi-seriously from faraway Southern California.

25 ton GE "PTM 89" will be painted in the Pittsburgh Railways maintenance car scheme, Omaha Orange top with black underframe. We have some orange Imron set aside for the job. The road number, BTW, is the last two digits of its GE serial.
Dave Hamley, for PTM.
