Project CNJ 113 will be hosting a slide show and forum on Coal Region railroading. We will have several presenters including Larry Eastwood whose topic is: Reading Company Rambles 1959-64, Dale Woodland whose topic is: Reading Company T1s, Richard Jahn whose topic is: Coal Region Railroads featuring Lehigh Valley, Jersey Central and Lehigh New England railroads, Matt Herman whose topic is: Delaware and Hudson Railroad in the diesel era, Tom Hughes whose topic is: Railroading in the Pottsville Area, and Joe Fusco whose topic is: CNJ 113--history and restoration. The date is: February 26, 2011 at the Lazy Dog Coffee House, Minersville, PA which is located across the street from the restoration site on 18 East Sunbury Street. The doors open at 8:00 AM, presentors start at 9:00 AM. Between those two times are coffee and donuts. A hot lunch will also be served. The cost is $30. Seating is limited, so registration is required. Call 570-544-8300 or email rrproject113@hotmail.com. Payment is required when you register. There will be no holding of seats without payment. There also be door prizes awarded. |
