The only good thing about National City Lines, Montgomery, AL's bus operator, was that the company didn't want segregation. City council demanded it.

I think this was mentioned a while back, but while we're on the subject: the actual bus has been preserved and restored, and is now on display at the Henry Ford historical museum in Dearborn, Mich. Probably one of the few General Motors products in their collection. Here in the Los Angeles area, the junction between the "Blue" and "Green" light rail lines has been named the Rosa Parks transit center.
