Post subject:  Welded Firebox to UK Practice

Found in the files at Steam Tech on Yahoo.
Identified as a page from the last UK Boiler Code that referenced steam locomotives circa 1969.
Note inner 14mm and outer 16mm firebox thicknesses, also 16mm door sheet (firebox end plate).

Metric translations:

10mm = 3/8" approx. (+ .019")

14mm = scant 9/16" (-.012")

16mm = 5/8" (+.005")

32mm = 1-1/4" (+.010")
