Hi to all

Knowing that there wooden car era experts on here perhaps we can investigate the history behind this window that i purchased on Ebay.
Its a sliding drop light window from a wooden car door, what made me buy it was the lovely etched pattern on the glass and of course the $35 price tag.
The only clues we have are a car number 692 on the frame, traces of original Pullman green paint, silver MOW paint on the exterior and the fact it came from the Kansas area.

Anyonecare to look through the car number listings of Kansas area RR's

Regards

Apologies for the super large photos, dont know how to reduce them further, anyhow we have a possibility..... Chicago Rock Island and Pacific 692 built in 1905 LOT 3157.

Still could be others though

Mike
