Thanks for posting that! I remember as a kid in the 70s and 80s, going up into the area for family trips we made each year (all my relatives were in Tweetsie Country for many years), all the locals assumed that other than what was saved up at Blowing Rock, everything was lost forever from the ET&WNC. In recent years I'm delighted to hear that wasn't the case. Not much exists, but it's more than even the locals for years thought. I just hope the only existing caboose eventually gets moved to a museum... |

You guys are doing a great job. I will have to say that your work looks better then some "professional" shops. My mother grew up in Elizabethton so I was always interested in the little dual gauge railroad...it makes me very happy to see that some of the original equipment keeps appearing from time to time.
