Someone on the O Gauge Railroading forum is saying the city of Nashville may no longer want 576 and there is no money to move it across town to Tennessee Central museum. If this is true who would be able to step in and save her on short notice?

Any evidence of a credible threat with a short fuse? Cities generally take their time about decisions - doing nothing is the bureaucrats first and best strategy. Let us know when they offer it for sale for scrap. or for donation to responsible parties.

The same O gauge forum that reported, just about this time last year, that the 576 was to be restored at TVRM and operated on Tennessee Central?

From what I understand, that particular person has had a tendency to start rumors about that locomotive for years...
