Did anyone see the footage on Sunday of the scenic railroads around the country? They showed several clips of the majors including TVRM. They were using the video and serval other items as a way to generate funds to keep the Public Television Station on the air. The footage was quite good. I did not see the airing on Sunday, but I believe this is probably the program you saw. http://www.gsrj.com/prnew2008.html This program was released in 2008. I did enjoy the TVRM footage. I believe they also covered the Western Maryland Scenic and White Pass & Yukon among other tourist railroads and museums. Various PBS stations have re-aired this program several times since its initial broadcast. Steven Ashley |
