I was curious if anybody knew the heritage of this car? It was a passenger car that went into BN work train service. I don't seem to be able to find a picture or anything about it. I'm suspecting that it was a 1946 GN coach, but I'd love to know, and if possible find out which one. |

Thanks Paul! Anybody have any ideas for where to find a car diagram for this car? |

There's a link to a diagram on that page, right underneath the box that tells the car's service history. |

Doooooh..... That's what I get for reading too fast! Thanks for pointing it out. Now, for the "rest of the story". This is a good news, bad news situation; the trucks made it and will go on to fight another day, but the car, sadly, did not. It's a shame too, those were pretty old cars. And for the record, the scrapping was someone else's idea, not ours, but I'd be lying if I said we were disappointed. Thanks for the help! |
