I'm not quite sure of her whereabouts. VA? The last time she ran was '96 I believe. But, what is she doing nowadays besides sitting. Anyone have any ideas what the owners plans are? Thanks in advance... Jeff Lisowski West Chester, Pa Great music! unfunkyufo76@hotmail.com |

They have a website so you might check it for details. Greg Scholl Videos sales@gregschollvideo.com |

Of course it would be nice to anything BIG on the East coast run. Looking forward to 765's return!!! Jeff Lisowski West Chester, Pa Great music! unfunkyufo76@hotmail.com |

I saw 2716 last Saturday when I was working on 152. She is currently sitting outside the shop building at the KRM. Currently there are no plans to operate it, as we have other more pressing needs. However, I am sure any donations, even for the cosmetic restoration of the locomotive would be greatly appreciated. Kentucky Railway Museum wilkidm@wku.edu |

David, How extensive was the firebox work that was done on 2716 by the FWRHS? I understood that the running gear was in great shape when she left NS, but that the major concern was the throat sheet. Does Mr. Krueger still help out up there? Andrew Durden SERM Southeastern Railway Museum gapower97@yahoo.com |

Don't know about the condition of the firebox. I will have to ask next time I am at the museum. Should be there Saturday, but due to the massive ammount of people who applied to law school, I am having to switch to Plan B and study up for the GRE, so the museum will have to wait, but I will ask. I think most of the concern was due to the expiration of the flue time on the locomotive, but I am not sure. Yes, Carl Crueger still is around. While not master mechanic of steam anymore, he is heading up the project to convert our FM H-12-44 to Roller bearings, after some bad axels appeared on the unit two years ago. wilkidm@wku.edu |

Her first trip out this year is on June 8,2002 and is sponsored by the Mahoning Valley Railroad Historical Association. jjpfeil@worldnet.att.net |
