There is a new posting in FLIMSIES that says that the preserved Rock Island station in Liberal, Kansas is going to be getting a couple of pieces of railroad equipment for display next to the building. One is a "promsed" caboose, but the other is a steam crane that already is preserved at a place called the Coronado Museum. I am not sure where this particular museum is located (perhaps also in Liberal?) but a story and photo of the crane that accompany the Flimsies report, fails to give any information as to its heritage. My guess is Rock Island, but perhaps not. Anyone have any idea as to the derricks heritage? Thanks!

Good guess. According to the Surviving World Steam database, Rock Island 160 ton steam crane (built by Industrial in 1925) #95020 is located in a city park in Liberal, KS.
