Site clearing began last week as the City of Surrey, B.C. and the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society begin their first steps to "our" new home.
The tracks in the attachment are from the original 1910 BCER Fraser Valley Line. We will have appox. 3/4 km of this track for our use as a test and training track. A new spur will be built to follow the line left of the poles. Regular service will follow these tracks to SRY tracks and, to begin, a 5 mile trip to our old location at Sullivan.
Construction of the new car barn is slated to begin next month.
