Amazing what turns up now and then--vintage Southern Railway footage, featuring a variety of 4-6-2s (not all of them Ps-4s!), a freight train with a 2-8-2 and a passenger train with a 4-6-2 in color, and a rare beastie, a 2-8-8-2!

Those heavyweight cars just looked right behind steam. It was also interesting to see some 1950s vintage autos in one scene, at a time when those cars would have been maybe 10 years old, maybe even a bit less. . .
