Post subject:  Air Brake Equipment Diagrams

I've been given a set of diagrams, "Illustrating Westinghouse Air Brake Equipment." They are all 24" x 30" and in color, showing the air flows for #6 ET brake stand. Four are for freight equipment, using a K triple valve, and four are for passenger equipment, using a UC valve. Each set is labeled "Plate 1" through "Plate 4." There is a copyright date of 1927, and are stamped, "Sold Exclusively by the Railway Educational Bureau." Each set of four illustrates the air flow for the running, service, emergency, and release positions of the brake valve.

By staring at them long enough, I'm able to sort of figure out what is supposed to be going on. But, it appears that these came with a book or some other form of text to fully explain them. Anyone know what the title of the book might be? I presume that it would also have been sold by the Railway Educational Bureau (Simmons-Boardman), and they are certainly still around. But I assume that this book would be long out of print. If I know a title, is would probably make a search on E-Bay a bit easier.

Thanks.
