What does this have to do with Preservation?

It's more over of "technically". There was a history of the stations along the line that would be returned to passenger train service, among those is the Palmer depot. While not directly preservation, the plan would also return passenger service to the old CV, which has seen passenger service, but the whole line would become a passenger corridor. It would bring back an old tradition that has long since gone away.

We try to leave discussions about model trains, railfaning, and passenger train advocacy to the multitude of other message boards out there. We try to keep RYPN on a more narrow focus and stick only to preservation.
