This may be a bit of a specific question, however does anyone have information on what steam whistle makes and sizes the Florida East Coast might have used, especially if there were ones specifically cast for the railroad? I know of long bell Hancock's being used, but being the family railroad, I was very interested in locating a genuine FEC heritage whistle or at least the chamber sizes. I've seen a video of I believe a nickel plated FEC whistle run at Cass sometime in the 90's, but that's all I know of that exists. Surely there is more information out there.

I've forwarded your query to both the reigning expert on the FEC and the reigning expert on steam whistles in the South. Stay tuned.
