Bev Fitzpatrick at VMT got word today that NS has approved operating train rides again for the "African-American N&W Heritage Celebration" at VMT on June 11th. We'll be doing a replay of the operation on May 14th's "Roanoke Rail Day", but will probably only take one locomotive over. Well, absolutely. If it helps one of the preservation groups in north america get noticed, then go for it! A restoration can be put back a day, seeing they are multiple year projects. |
