I saw this posting on Railswap and wondered if someone interested in the PRR, or if someone interested in circus trains, would preserve the car (if anyone). I also wondered, does anyone know what museums currently have circus cars, and of those, which are restored or displayed/interpreted? ![]() http://railswap.org/cb/cl/classifieds.cgi?search_and_display_db_button=on&db_id=14558&query=retrieval |

As built: ![]() PRR 8427 William Wallace Atterbury: Pullman Standard lightweight 2 DR - 1 Comp - 1 DBR - buffet lounge Blunt-end observation. This is potentially one of the best potential cars available for private varnish conversion, provided it's intact and functional. |

I might be wrong, but I am wondering if this is the exPRR car that was privately owned in Texas in the 70's. I found this car in the MKT yard in Austin? with fire damage. The local FD cut a big hole in the side of the car to get at the fire. Dick Brundage Tulsa OK |
