This clip from a Windsor Locks, CT newspaper shows how the Connecticut Trolley Museum is integrating with its local community. This looks like an application that might work for other museums. Opening up a large building for non-rail events could be a win-win which shows the museum as a good neighbor while at the same time presenting museum achievements to non-visitors. Either way, these are practical means to generate word-of-mouth referrals. Sloan "2.
