It was put down to increased licensing fees to hold the days. Instead, the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure will stage Family Fun Days over the weekend of August 6-7.


I find it interesting to note that the price point of Thomas licensing has maxxed-out at this very appropriate location to hold a Thomas event. I wonder how often this has happened in the US. Perhaps only the mega-museum locations, which can handle the massive throngs of suburban children and their doting parents, will be where these will be held.
