Whoo-ee!! One of the cars was rescued from the Johnstown Flood? I didn't know they had trolleys in Pennsylvania back that far!

Reminds me of the lady at the Pennsylvania Trolley museum telling her children about the controls visible through the open door of P&W 66, which included a gas pedal (air whistle) and steering wheel (hand brake)! Whoo-ee!!

At least she liked the place, and that really was the only serious blooper I could find (but I have to admit it was a doozy).

Scranton, Pennsylvania, the Electric City, is Celebrating the 125th Anniversary of its 1st Electric street car operation in 1886, 3 years earlier. Johnstown got its 1st trolley cars because its horse car system was destroyed by the 1889 Flood. At least one of the Shore Line Trolley Museum cars from Johnstown has mud behind the car cards above its windows, probably from the 1937 Flood.
