Forwarded from IRMList Quote: It is with great shock and sadness that I have to report the passing of John Cloos, longtime member and frequent poster to these pages. News is sketchy but he suffered a massive heart attack while at work last Friday, and could not be revived.

John was always helpful. I enjoyed conversing with him via the computer on the few times I had a chance to talk about a rail preservation subject. This is certainly a very sad turn of events. My condolences to the family and his friends. Les |

John was a great guy. We worked on a number of traction projects together in the Chicago area. He will be missed, for sure. Jack |
