Join us at the East Broad Top Railroad and the FEBT Robertsdale Museum on Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2, 2002 for our annual celebration of the start of another operating season on the East Broad Top Railroad.
The FEBT will be conducting public guided tours of the historic EBT Machine Shop Complex and of the EBT's Rockhill Furnace yards and facilites. Dating from the late nineteenth century with significant early twentieth-century adaptions, the EBT railroad shop is widely recognized as one of the premier historic industrial sites in North America. Several times each day of this special weekend FEBT members will host two different tours. Also, the FEBT will be holding an open house at the Robertsdale FEBT Museum and will have an informational tent at the railroad.
Shops tours are $5 for the public. Rockhill Yard Tours are free. EBT Train tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for children. Special FEBT member discounted tickets will be available.
