I invite you to add your pictures.

This was taken in the Woman's Waiting Room of the Snoqualmie, Washington Historic Depot, NW Railway Museum on Saturday.

This was taken during Steamtown's annual Lackawanna Railfest. Reading Company T-1 2124 freshly painted, awaiting lettering!

It would be neat and different to see 2124 painted into the more colorful Ramble scheme.

Over here in Virginia, Norfolk Southern opened their Shaffers Crossing engine facility to the public. The Roanoke Chapter NRHS brought in their historic N&W Alco T-6 #41 and two N&W restored N&W cabooses and offered short train rides to the visitors.

It rained for pretty much the entire event, but doubtful that it dampened the spirits of the railfans. ;)

Golden Gate Railroad Museum and Pacific Locomotive Association operated Southern Pacific #2472 on the Niles Canyon Railway on Saturday and Monday. These pictures show the GGRM Member appreciation train, which operated east from the Sunol depot toward Pleasanton on track that is not used by the regular trains between Niles and Sunol.

The passenger count for the Shaffer's Crossing Open House was 654, in 3 1/2 hours. The line was longer for the train ride than it was for free hot dogs.

Car 57 repaint and final finishing of the north side progressed well today with our ONE new volunteer ! Amazing how much you can complete with an extra pair of hands.

The Black River and Western Railroad in Ringoes, NJ had their second Photo Freight of the year yesterday. A great time was had by those who attended and actively participated. Too bad there weren't more people to partake in it, but the intimate event made for some unique photo opportunities. Many thanks to the BR&W crew for a great day.
