No, you're probably not thinking of the wrong guy. He's a known rail enthusiast, as revealed by an entire story line in that comic strip that recreated, to precision, "O. Winken Blink" doing Link's famous drive-in theater photo scene.

So I just gave you at least two ways to get a hold of him.

I haven't seen that comic strip in a very long time, pleased to know it is still being circulated. Thanks for the information.
