| Post subject: | Volunteer recruitment videos |
This evening I ran across a number of videos on YouTube aimed at recruiting new rail museum volunteers, or intended just to show the work of volunteers (videos are linked below). I thought all the videos were well done. I wonder if putting a video like one of these on a museum website would be a helpful way of introducing the museum to potential volunteers. It would put a human face on the organization, at least. PS. I particularly enjoyed a scene in the second video below, where the volunteer steam engine fireman is cooking his breakfast on a shovel in the firebox.
