Just got a copy of email from Chis Burger who took some great pics of a very cool get together up north. The equipment and scenery along with sunshine made for some exquisite shots. Can't share what isn't mine and don't know Chris personally. Wouldn't know how to get them here anyway. Anybody got some of this on film?

Kind of wonder why Soo #2719 is never mentioned anywhere? Wi is horrible at promoting it's steam when it is operating. Or maybe I live in a void? Not much, maybe not very often, but steam does operate here from time to time. Haven't heard much on SOO #1003 lately. How about update folks???

Hope someone shares some pics as they are just awesome.

Since it has been in Duluth, Soo Line 2719 has almost always run 4 or 5 weekends in August and September, with an occasional private photo charter thrown in.

Thank you for the links {and correction} Ed and BDrotar111. Exactly what I was looking for. Kind of hoped others might find it interesting as well. Not involved with either group, but know many of the volunteers on the #1003 project past and present.

I like reading about other peoples restorations and the progress they make as well as wonderful fall runs and excursions. Just want people to know about these two organizations and the great things they do, as well as update myself. Thanks again both of you.
