On October 22, 1988, 25 years ago as of 2013 - This one is worth another heartfelt salute on the anniversary of this photo. In what was certainly one of my best days for chasing steam! Time to revisit the thrill of that aerial chase!

Hard to believe that next year will be 30 years since 611's restoration to operating was completed, and she ran her first excursions Labor Day weekend 1982!
