Guys, Yes, this is another one of those posts, but PLEASE indulge me... The new SE Narrow Gauge Museum needs your help... We have applied for a Pepsi Refresh Everything grant for $25,000 to help preserve our collection. You do have to register an email address (all 30 seconds), but you can vote once per day per email and facebook address. Please go to http://pep.si/uInSz5 How is this important to railroad preservation?? Well, we have one of the oldest narrow gauge boxcars in existence, built circa 1875. This is from the Chester & Lenoir Narrow Gauge (Carolina & N-W) and is likely the OLDEST SR heritage piece of equipment in existence. We also will be restoring Yadkin Railroad #100, the only SR gasoline-mechanical piece of equipment still surviving. We additionally are working on ET&WNC 434, Lawndale 311, ET&WNC #1, and ET&WNC #2... we need $$$ More info at www.newtondepot.com THIS IS NOT SPAM... You can vote once per day per email and facebook address... PLEASE crosspost us and HELP US... Hey, you voting once a day is cheaper than you sending us $100, which you should do anyway!! :>) Matt Bumgarner Alexander Chapter-NRHS |

We made it as high as #22, but keep bouncing around between there and #25... We could REALLY use this community's help... We're ranked 24, not bad, but we need to be in the Top 15. Vote at least twice today... http://pep.si/uInSz5 to vote via Facebook. Text 109665 to phone number 73774!!! Thanks Matt Bumgarner |
