We've just put about 200 hours of programming effort into making steamlocomotive.info capable of switching languages. To that end, my wonderful daughter-in-law, who is both a mechanical engineer, and a native German speaker has agreed to do the first translation, into German, of course.

Not to harp on the crowdsourcing thing again -- but you should check out Amazon Mechanical Turk if you can't find volunteers. I've used it and it really does work nicely and costs next to nothing.
