UPRR #3985 ChallengerÂ’s Spring Tour to Milwaukee is scheduled from June 6 to 27. Although I have the daily itinerary, IÂ’m in need of the time (hourly) schedules for June 7 (North Platte to Council Bluffs) and June 26 (Marysville to North Platte). Does anyone know of a source for these? |

Glad to help Dick. Wish I lived closer to the Big Boy's slightly smaller brother perkolate. Maybe it will cross the Mississippi River someday...... BTW, didn't it fill in on the Clinchfield a whole bunch of years ago on their "Santa Train" through the hill country when their chooch was laid up? The link bellow is where I got the link for 3985's schedule which originated from UPRR.com. Altamont's Railroad News is mainly current-event news from US railroading, but has preservation type news now and again. The daily news is put out around noon EST six days a week. Ray Railroad News |

> Maybe it will cross the Mississippi River > someday...... Yeah, like maybe June 12 and 18...... It did last year, 'cause I rode it down the east bank on the NRHS Convention Special. And in 1993, for that convention and flood, which were separate, but concurrent, events. |

Sorry I don't have any info on #3985 pulling the "Santa Train". Maybe someone else might know about it. But thanks for the web site of Railroad News - good one to check often! Dick |
