The Petaluma, CA, City Council is beginning planning for the restoration of a historic trestle along the Petaluma River which was built by the Petaluma and Santa Rosa Railroad. http://www.petaluma360.com/article/20111223/COMMUNITY/111229845/1362/community?Title=New-life-for-old-trestle It's encouraging that everyone agrees that it should be preserved and that trolley service on it might be restored some day. |
