While looking for images of Southern Pacific's "C. P. Huntington," I came across this site. Some of the images are older, some are newer, no doubt some have been seen by readers here before. In any event, I thought it might be of interest for your perusal.

First up is this photo of a V&T 4-4-0, the famous "Genoa." She of course is around today at Sacramento, but I'm curious about where and when this photo was taken, and what is in the consist behind the tender. Any clues?

You go in some museums and antique shops and you find things like old washing machines, etc. Normally we wouldn't have much use for those around a railroad museum, but then again. . .how did Sears get them to your home?

General sites; for some reason, the photo selection changes every time you get on, so it will never look the same on a return visit, but it does look like everything is still there, you just have to hope you can find it.

Those postcard images of the IC engine and the "Mississippi" look like they were from the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago, or at least the same building in an earlier period.
