Is the Lehigh and New England business car still at the New Jersey restaurant? And what car is with it? |

L&NE was at a restaurant in Pennsylvania, not New Jersey. About 10 years ago someone bought it and has it trucked out, supposedly to be restored. It has been off the radar since then. I would love to have an update on its fate. |

Information on the whereabouts of L&NE 100 has been posted on other forums. I dont feel it's appropriate to mention the owners name here without prior consent, but the car is in a collection in Windber, PA. Some research by satalite and it shouldn't take you too long to figure out where she is. |

Anyone with interest in the Windber, PA rolling stock accumulation should know that the previous owner sold the entire facility to a scrap dealer in early 2023. When I last visited there about 5 years ago the business car was indoors. But I've heard that there was a lot of break-ins and vandalism in recent years, so beware. |

I remember hearing about the Lehigh and New England business car being at a restaurant in Pennsylvania too, but wasn't aware of the recent updates. It's a shame to hear about the break-ins and vandalism. I do hope the car is now in better hands at the Everett Railroad. Thanks for sharing this information; it's interesting to follow the journey of such a unique piece of train history. Looking at the Facebook update, it certainly seems like they're making some positive changes to it. |
