Recognize This Conductor Button?

The button has the word conductor along the edge on the side above the logo.

"Belt Line" ??? Not sure which belt line but it sure looks like a belt around the edge and well...BL = Belt Line.

Google says there was a Belt Line around Buffalo, NY which operated trolleys. It was part of the New York Central empire. Could this have been the one?

Hello Wesley, This button is from the Boston & Lowell RR. Believe it or not, there a book called "Uniform Transportation Buttons: Railroad" by Donald P. VanCourt. This button is referenced as 10/16 in the book. The B&L ran its first train in 1835 and merged into the Boston & Maine in 1887. According to VanCourt, the die for this button was cut in 1877 by Scovill. This is one of the rarer New England buttons. Nice find! Hope this helps. Paul Hubbard.
