I'm certain many of you are cognizant of the April 14-15th, 100 year anniversary of the loss of the "Titanic". Only a railroad thing in the shallowest of senses; private cars and boat trains. Anyone here in a group that intends to hold a recognition event?

One of those lost aboard the Titanic was Charles Melville Hays, president of the Grand Trunk Railway. Apparently many GTR plans and documents were lost with him.

Mr. Hays is probably the biggest railway connection involved in the disaster.
