Just curious, do any EMD B unit switchers still exist? Im talking the cabless, end cab switchers. For what its worth, Are there even any B units GP's still kicking around? |

Although it has been re-engined with a more modern engine, UP has E9B 963 in its executive fleet (with rebuilt E9A's 949 and 951). They also have 966 which is awaiting rebuilding and was acquired in a trade with Portola several years ago. (oops - didn't notice the question was about switchers...) |

Are you looking for the old "calf" switcher units? If so, they're still out there. KCS had several, but they used to like to catch fire. |
