Recently, the group of people in Petaluma CA who are restoring wooden Central Pacific coach #29 ventured out to Baltimore and salvaged underframe parts and complete wooden bolstered trucks from B&O car 50.

Does anyone know what the donor car's history was, and why it became a wreck?

The e-mail in the Yahoo Group states that they salvaged parts from B&O #50. 50 was one of the ex B&O painted ex CNJ passenger cars that was destroyed in the roundhouse roof collapse. I believe the baggage car was also destroyed, while one of the other coaches was not in the roundhouse at the time and was spared.
