Post subject:  Aussie Pullman photo

Thought you carriage lovers might like the attached photo of the Pullman car I've been working on for the past 11 years. It was taken by ARHS colleague and photographer extraordinaire, Howard Moffatt.
Please ignore the ugly bloke in the window!

Loosen the truss rods. Way too tight!

Actually, wonderful car. Great restoration. But you need help. Send plane ticket!

Les, I'd love some help, but given the whole project's being done on the smell of an oily rag, your ticket would take up a hell of a lot of rags!
Wes, it's in Canberra. Society's website is trains.org.au. For you loco types, there's a Garratt about 30 metres to the right of this car, which is coming back together very nicely.
