The above is the title of a current FLIMSIES report (except for the question mark) reporting on a couple who renovated an old brick railroad station in England. There is also a current FLIMSIES about a condo for sale that is basically a modern lightweight passenger car. Here's one a bit different:

Note that the car is pretty much unchanged from regular service, except perhaps for the added air conditioner and electrical connections. What I find interesting is that it sits on what appears to be an old trestle, but since this is reportedly just outside of the town square in downtown Kosciusko, Mississippi (as evidenced by the buildings behind it), my guess is that this might be the remnants of a trestle for a coal yard or similar industry. Anyone know for sure?

Also, I recall seeing a streamlined cupola Ann Arbor caboose privately preserved on a farm in Michigan that sat on an old railroad trestle over a creek (the railroad itself had been previously torn up). And I know of a narrow gauge steamer and equipment preserved on a trestle out in Colorado. How many other such preservation sites such as these, are out there? They certainly do have a bit of an advantage for security.

Speaking of that, the work has certainly been impressive.
