Noted in the C&TS web site that No. 463 will be back in service this summer. Anyone have any more details of the rebuild and current status?

If you follow the link, http://www.cumbrestoltec.org/463/engine-463-events.html , there was a special charter for the locomotive for yesterday evening. Checked youtube and found nothing, a google image search yielded no results either.
I know very well how unexpected issues can make a project take longer and cost more. Hope it made the event and if not may things be going well for them!!!!

Cheers, Jason

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it states that the run is on May 15th, not March 15th.

That's still only two months away...so it has to be fairly close, but due to a bit of a conflict between the two narrow gauge forums, information appears to have been few and far between due to the possibility of bad gossip.

No bubble burst at all!!!!!

I am glad I misread that date....that's what I get for trying to read after 10 mind numbing hours of welding.

Here's to success in making the date!!!!!!!!
