Enjoyed this recent visit to the Ffestiniog.
We who follow the Maine 2-Footers also know of our even closer connection with the Ffestiniog, through George Mansfield, the tireless promoter of 2 foot gauge railroading in New England, who visited Wales in the 1870s IIRC. Closer? We are only a half inch wider than the Ffestiniog's track gauge!
