Alco Gaskets

Does anyone out there have a good source for Alco gaskets? Specifically, I need radiator to tank gaskets for a T6

Did you try Hatch and Kirk, and Striegal?

Try Durox in Strongville, Ohio. They were (are?) the OEM supplier for FM-Alco.

When calling Durox ask for Henry when you go to customer service. If he is there he will know what you need.

Back in the day, one of my associates cut out a set of RS-3 radiator gaskets from full sheets of Swellex material. He used one of the flanges that joins the radiator sections together as a template. The holes were done either with an arch punch on each sheet or the sheets were gang drilled. Can't actually recall.

Another suggestion that developed after the job was completed was to use pressure sensitive cork strip...overlapping the strips at the corner.
