On the occasion of RyPN's 4th Anniversary, I have revised the Guidelines & Rules (actually, just the later). Instead of requiring real names and valid e-mail addresses, we are now strongly encouraging their use. And, we make it clear that anonymous posts, and those without valid e-mails, are much more likely to be removed if things get heated, than otherwise would be the case. What we're doing is changing the rules to reflect reality, we weren't rigorously enforcing them anyway, and in accordance with the wishes of the majority of Interchange visitors (at least the ones who bothered to e-mail me when polled on the subject). Other than that, it's business as usual. We will continue to monitor the board, and intervene when necessay, but try not to keep the screws on too tight. It's a tricky balance, and we appreciate the assistance of our forum visiotrs in reporting problems and abuses to the Board Moderators, listed in the Rules & Guidelines sections.
