Post subject:  Milwaukee Road SW-1 #1626

She is looking really sharp. According to the post she was actually CB&Q but nevertheless someone has given her a very nice paint job. Does anyone know if she is operable and how she is used?

Look at the caption: It's a "replica." The real thing is a former CB&Q/BN unit.

Based on the bucket over the stack I would guess the engine is operable. I would think if it was on display the stack would be either uncovered or covered with something more permament. There is also what appears to be a vest or jacket hanging in the cab. Nice find.
